Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised J.P. Morgan, which acted as the broker for the sale of 3,600,000 equity shares of the face value of Rs. 5 each of Bata India Limited representing 2.80% of the paid-up equity share capital of Bata India, by Bata (BN) B.V (the Seller). The Seller is the promoter of Bata India and undertook the sale on the screen-based trading of BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited on June 1, 2022 for an aggregate consideration of Rs 613 crores (approx.).
