Professional Experience
- Represented the league owner in an application for setting aside an arbitral award of INR 4800 crores, relating to damages arising from expulsion of a team from a sports league.
- Represented the contractor in arbitration proceedings involving delay, defect and variation claims of INR 2500 crores relating to construction of offshore platforms.
- Represented the majority shareholder/ acquirer in arbitration proceedings relating to breach of representations and warranties by the minority shareholder/ seller in relation to a luxury hotel.
- Advised a national sports body in relation to international disputes with other sports bodies involving conduct of bilateral tournaments and international tournaments.
- Represented the majority shareholder in proceedings relating to contested exercise of ROFR in relation to an airport operating company.
- Represented the new management of a public listed company in proceedings involving reopening and recasting of financial statements by the government on grounds of fraud committed by previous management.
- Represented the tournament organiser in arbitration proceedings against a television broadcaster relating to a media rights license agreement for live broadcast of matches.
- Advised the Committee of Administrators appointed by the Supreme Court of India to implement reforms in cricket administration.
