Alok has over 15 years of experience and focuses on general corporate advisory and transactional matters, which mostly include Private Equity (fund set-up and transactions) and M&A transactions.

He has a keen interest in economics and geo-strategy and has spent majority of his free time in sharpening his knowledge and skills in relation to the same.

• Advised Hell Infra Market on series of investments and acquisitions transactions aggregating to approx. USD 500 million including acquisition of Strata Geosystems, joint venture with Riddhi Siddhi Group, acquisition of Shirdi Industries, acquisitions of Rajuri Steels etc.
• Advised Hell Infra Market on series of investments and acquisitions transactions aggregating to approx. USD 500 million including acquisition of Strata Geosystems, joint venture with Riddhi Siddhi Group, acquisition of Shirdi Industries, acquisitions of Rajuri Steels etc.
• Advised JSW Group on series of transaction aggregating to approx. USD 500 million including acquisition in ports business of Chettinad Group, acquisition in ports business of Gulf Petroleum FZE.
• Advised Mitsui Co., Ltd. on series of investments in India aggregating to approx. USD 100 million including Punjab Renewable Energy Systems Private Limited, setting up a BioGas Platform in India.
• Advised venture capital and / or private equity and venture funds such as Singularity Ventures, Cactus Partners, India Alternatives, Centre Court Capital, Lighthouse Canton, Multiply Ventures, Tata Capital on their various matters including fund set-up, limited partner investments, investments, portfolio advisory and exit transactions.
• Advised FMO on series of financial investment (i) restructuring of a USD 63 million joint venture fund with SBI Holdings (Softbank), Singapore and its investment in various financial services business in India including Innoviti Payment Solutions Private Limited, (ii) advisory work on SEBI and RBI related matters.
• Advised HCG on seeking the private equity investment from CVC Capital Partners for approx. USD 150 million and resultant open offer for acquisition of 26% equity shares of HCG.
• Advised Larsen & Toubro on various divestments aggregating to approx. USD 50 million including L&T Cutting Tools Limited to IMC International and EWAC Alloys Limited to ESAB Holdings Limited.
• Advised TA Associate on the co-investment by TA Associate & India Value Fund Advisors in Atria Convergence Technologies Private Limited.
• Advised Temasek on the co-investment by Temasek Holdings & Advent International in Crompton Greaves Consumer Limited.
