Sharad has around forty years of experience in dispute resolution practice.

He focusses on handling complex commercial disputes, winding up proceedings, scheme of arrangements, amalgamation, proceedings u/s 397/398 of the Companies Act, reduction of capital and other incidental proceedings under the company law, DRT proceedings, arbitration proceedings and contentious matters relating to securities law before SEBI, SAT, National and State level regulatory authorities.

Professional Experience

Advised mega mergers of Tata Group Companies, Strides Group Sony Group, Morgan Stanley, Hiranandani Group, ABNL Group Companies, Syngenta Group, Axis Bank and Essar Group companies, etc., and reduction of capital proceedings for L&T and Rabo Bank.
Representing leading banks and financial institutions such as ICICI Bank, State Bank of India, Yes Bank and ARCIL in various commercial disputes before High Courts, District Court, City Civil Court and Tribunals, including recovery proceedings.
Representing companies and banks, such as Tata Group, Birla Group, ICICI Bank, Yes Bank, IL&FS Group in various commercial disputes pending before the High Court, District Court and Tribunals.
