Advised International Finance Corporation (IFC) on its: equity investment in Zenex (animal healthcare), Onsitego (an Indian phone repair/ warranty company), Mahyco International (a Singapore based agro-fertilizer company), Dodla Dairy (a listed Indian dairy company), Nepal Water & Energy Development Company (a hydro-projects company in Nepal), Himatsinga Seide Limited (textiles), Mintifi (fin-tech), Signatureglobal (affordable housing), in Mahindra’s EV business.
Advised International Finance Corporation (IFC) on its: secondary exit from Clean Max Enviro (an Indian solar energy company) and a hospital healthcare company; and IPO in Signatureglobal (affordable housing)
Advised International Finance Corporation (IFC) on its: initial cost investment in PSA Bay Terminal (a port facility in Bangladesh)
Advised Asian Development Bank on its equity investments in Zenex (animal healthcare) and Shubham Housing Development Finance Company Limited (an Indian housing finance company) and preparation of standard form templates.
Advised British International Investment on its investments in Mahindra’s EV business; in the renewable energy portfolio of an Indian listed conglomerate; and a company building technology to manufacture lithium ion battery packs (ongoing)
Advised Finnfund on its equity investment in Fortum Charge and Drive (an Indian e-charging company) and Indifi Technologies (an Indian fintech company)
Advised Goldman Sachs on its equity investments in InsuranceDekho (online platform to compare and purchase insurance policies), Pepperfry and a pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution company (ongoing)
Advised Mutiples on its equity investment in Kogta Financial (asset finance NBFC)
Advised Bessemer Venture Partners on its equity investment in Supermarket Grocery Supplies (Bigbasket), an Indian company engaged in grocery delivery.
Advised Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec on secondary investment in Pharmeasy (by way of purchase from Everstone) and its additional acquisition (of 10%) in Apraava Energy Private Limited, from the CLP Group (raising CDPQ’s overall stake to 50%)
Advised Carlyle in relation to a proposed investment in Aakash Education Services and Sai Life Sciences.
Advised Apollo Global in relation to proposed investment in Signature Global.
Advised GMR Energy in relation to a proposed investment in its subsidiary by Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
Advised on several business and asset transfers in the pharma space, including: (a) Baxalta (and its affiliates) in a transaction involving the acquisition of the biopharma division from Baxter International Inc. by way of a business transfer, (b) Abbvie (and its affiliates) in a transaction involving the acquisition of the biopharma division from Abbot Laboratories by way of a business transfer, (c) Shire (and its affiliates) in a transaction involving the acquisition of the certain undertakings from Baxalta by way of a business transfer, and (d) ICU Medical Inc, a leading medical device manufacturer, on transfer of Pfizer’s IV infusion business in India, by way of a business transfer agreement, pursuant to a global acquisition of Pfizer’s IV infusion business.
