Tushar Mavani

Tushar’s experience includes litigation, arbitration and transactional advisory work on a wide range of issues including aircraft operating lease agreements, financing of acquisition of aircrafts, commercial contracts, joint ventures, technical collaboration agreements, mergers and acquisitions and share purchase and shareholders agreements, commercial financing transactions and related documents.

He has advised several domestic and international clients in a variety of matters including joint ventures, private equity, mergers, acquisitions, collaboration agreements, technology transfer, trademark and name license agreements, software license agreements and several other commercial contracts.

Prior to joining cam, Tushar was a Partner at Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe for 8 years. He is a director of Kotak Mahindra Pension Fund Ltd. and of Kotak Mahindra Trusteeship Services Ltd.

Air India Limited regarding aircraft leasing, financing of its acquisition of aircraft & various other matters.
Comstar Mauritius Limited and other Comstar entities in connection with the sale of the entire shareholding of Comstar Automotive Technologies Private Limited and Comstar Automotive Hong Kong Limited to Singapore VII Topco III Pte. Ltd., a Blackstone entity.
Yara Fertilisers India Private Limited and Yara International ASA in connection with the acquisition of Tata Chemicals Limited’s (TCL) business of sale and distribution of urea and customised fertilizers manufactured through TCL’s urea plant in Babrala, Uttar Pradesh, through a scheme of arrangement, by way of a slump sale.
UltraTech Cement Ltd. in connection with acquisition of identified cement assets from Jaiprakash Associates Limited and its subsidiaries namely, Jaypee Cement Corporation Limited and Jaypee Power Ventures Limited, through a scheme of arrangement.
