Aniket Singhania

Aniket is a Partner in the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure team of the Firm and an integral part of the firm’s Ahmedabad regional practice.

He focuses on project development/ construction, contract management and M&A in infrastructure sectors.

He has over 10 years of experience and has been regularly advising clients (developers, contractors, investors, etc.) on large projects related contracts (including EPC/ other construction contracts, concession/ sub-concession agreements, O&M agreements, offtake agreements, commercial agreements, etc.), contract management of project development contracts, regulatory matters, M&A and joint ventures in varied infrastructure sectors including the renewable energy (solar and wind), datacentres, semiconductors, oil and gas, port, road and highways, and other urban infrastructure sectors in India.

Relevant Experience:

• Advising Micron Technology, Inc. on setting up of its first semiconductor assembly and test facility in India and undertaking contract management for its construction contracts.
• Advised Adani Total Gas Limited on construction and development of one of the largest biogas plants in Barsana, India and on concession agreement for designing, building, financing, and operating a 500 tonnes per day bio-CNG plant at Ahmedabad and Rajkot on a public private partnership model.
• Advised Adani ConneX Limited on construction and development of one of the largest data centres in India on a “build to suit” basis for Alphabet Inc and data centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India for Microsoft Corporation (India) Private Limited.
• Advised Lilavati Foundation on bidding and contracting for construction and development of 300 beds hospital in GIFT city, India on a turnkey basis.
• Advised Adani Townships and Real Estate Company Limited on drafting of construction contracts for various contract packages for Dharavi Slum Rehabilitation project and development of new residential project in Shantigram, Ahmedabad.
• Advised Mundra Solar PV Limited and Mundra Solar Energy Limited on reviewing, negotiating, and finalising the master supply agreement for manufacturing and supply of solar photovoltaic modules to Florida Power and Light Company.
• Advised Adani Ports and SEZ Limited on its acquisition of entire ownership interest in Gangavaram Port Limited and Gangavaram Port Limited having concession for ports in India and on risks in bidding for concession for various minor and major ports in India.
• Advised Dholera Industrial Development Corporation Limited on drafting and finalising EPC contract with an Indian contractor for construction and development of road in Dholera.
• Advised a large multinational corporation based in Philippines on setting up a floating based import, receiving, storage, regasification, and send-out LNG terminal with a capacity of 1 MMTPA at a port in India.
• Advised a Germany based engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor in relation to drafting, negotiation and finalization of EPC contracts/ supply, service, civil works and wrap agreements for development and commissioning of over 200 MW of solar power projects in various states of India.
• Advised Adani Roads and Transport Limited on its acquisition of the Maharashtra Border Check Posts Network Limited having concession for border check posts in India from Sadbhav Group and road assets owned by Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund.
• Advised Ashoka Buildcon Limited and Morgan Stanley on their sale of stake in Unison Enviro Private Limited engaged in city gas distribution (CGD) business to Mahanagar Gas Limited.
• Advised a large US based multinational company on its proposed acquisition of an Indian company engaged in duty free retail trade business at various airports in India.
