Meeta has over 11 years of experience in the banking and finance practice and specialises in structured finance, project finance, receivables and asset backed financing, cross-border financing, stressed-debt transactions and asset reconstruction.
She started her career as an in-house counsel with ICICI Bank in 2010 and joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in 2014.

- Advised Hindustan Construction Company in its debt resolution plan, which includes monetization of arbitration claims and awards.
- Advised a consortium of 22 banks and financial institutions led by ICICI Bank Limited, in structuring and implementing a debt resolution plan for Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited.
- Advised Reliance Industries Limited and its subsidiaries in one of the largest and first of its kind monetisation structures, where business receivables from office parks were securitised through structured debt.
- Advised Cerberus Capital, Edelweiss Capital and Goldman Sachs on a structured debt investment in Kesoram Industries Limited.
- Advised India Grid Trust on the first ever public issue of debt securities by an Infrastructure Investment Trust in India.
- Advised a consortium of lenders led by State Bank of India, in relation to their funding (term loan and working capital) to Udupi Power Corporation Limited.
- Advised BlackRock India in its secondary debt purchase from a leading financial institution in India, and on its foreign portfolio investments in non-convertible debentures issued by real estate developers in India..
- Advised International Finance Corporation in its debt funding to a leading housing finance company, to be utilised for affordable housing programs.
- Advised HDFC Bank limited in its bridge loan funding to HPCL Shapoorji Energy Private Limited.
- Advised Adani Power Maharashtra Limited in monetization/discounting of its receivables from power purchase agreements.
