Given this, we also understand the struggles and challenges that a startup company faces in its growth stage and are aware of their need to balance good legal advise with economic realities of an early startup stage company. Hence, as part of our desire to contribute back to the society, our commitment to the Government of India’s startup initiative, and with the intent to encourage more young entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams without having to choose between economic viability and need for sound legal advise, we have taken up the initiative to provide a first of its kind in India free of charge automated startup toolkit to any and all startups and their founders.

This Toolkit consists of a range of documents that any early stage startup company may need as they progress from ideation stage to their Series A round of private equity funding. Documents contained in this toolkit include Memorandum and Articles of Association, Founder Agreement, Business Transfer agreements for transferring existing business from a Founder’s partnership firm to the startup company, KMP Employment Agreement, employee offer letters, Consultancy agreements, leasee-friendly lease deeds and leave and license agreements, pre-series A investment Agreement,Series A term sheet, agreements for inter-corporate deposits, Non-disclosure agreements, power of attorneys, and various board resolutions and secretarial filings. And we will continue to, over course of time, add more documents to this list.

This unique automated toolkit allows users to select their desired documents, and feed in their desired answers to a series of specific questions which will be asked by our automation tool. Basis the answers provided, the user will be able to generate a first base draft of their desired document with their specific answers fed into the document. This toolkit has been prepared and reviewed by domain experts,keeping in mind the needs of early stage organizations. The documents themselves have been prepared as basic and simple first drafts that are intended to be pro-founders and pro-startup companies.

Whilst this will not completely negate the need of independent legal advise, and we ourself strongly recommend users to seek legal advise, we do hope that it will significantly reduce the time and cost of seeking such advise.
